A Collings OM is a thing of beauty.  When you add Englemann Spruce and gorgeous figured Mahogany, you get, not only stunning looks, but an airy and articulate sound. This OM1E Custom has a pronounced lightness and equally impressive fundamental note.  It also has a robust low end that gives the impression of a much larger guitar. Unlike some mahogany guitars, it has a firm mid-range balance that is evident in the sustain. As you listen to the decay, you notice that all of the notes are equally present in the fadeout. This is due to the painstaking attention to detail that Collings puts into bracing and tuning the tops for maximum sustain and balance.  This very special OM1E must be played to be appreciated!

Cosmetic Condition:

This guitar has some play wear, minor top dents (largest between pickguard and the edge of the top on the treble side at the waist; another on the bass side upper bout), K&K Pure Mini and strap button are installed – EXCELLENT condition
