To all our Loyal Customers,
As promised in our April newsletter from a couple weeks ago, we wanted to send everyone a reminder about the changes going on in our repair department. In an effort to improve our daily repair operations and lead-times, we will be closing the Repair Department on Mondays beginning this Monday, April 15th--otherwise, the repair department will operate as usual Tuesday through Saturday. We realize that this might be an inconvenience for some folks; but, by making this change, we anticipate that we will be able to maintain more consistent staffing, which will enable us to work more efficiently.
Going forward, we encourage you to drop off and pick up your repairs when the repair shop is open. This will ensure that there will be someone on hand to address any questions you might have about a potential repair or work that has been done. Even so, you will certainly be able to pick up completed repairs on Mondays; and, though we prefer that a repairman evaluate your guitar while you are present, you will be able to drop off any repair brought in on a Monday with the sales staff. Any repairs received on a Monday will be evaluated by the repair staff at their first opportunity, who will then follow up with a phone call to discuss the repair. On a somewhat related note, we would like to take a quick moment to remind everyone that we prefer that any repairs be dropped off with a case or gig bag, given our limited space!
Finally, we have also updated our price list--you can view it here. As a rule, we make every effort to fairly quote our work and save folks money where we can, so we've done our best to mitigate the increase in cost. We greatly appreciate everyone's support over the years, and we look forward to helping you keep your prized guitars playing their best.
