This year has certainly flown by. We here at Maple Street Guitars are thankful for our many friends and loyal customers who keep us busy. We love matching the person to that perfect guitar and introducing folks both young and old to the fun of learning to play. Thank you all for your support this year!

Talent Search!!!

Maple Street Guitars is presently searching for a top notch salesperson to join our staff! As an independent family business, we pride ourselves on friendly customer service and effective communication of our product knowledge. Therefore, any applicant should have strong communication and writing skills, as well as a courteous, professional decorum and an enthusiasm for working with customers and students from all walks of life (and of all skill levels!). Obviously, guitar skills and retail experience are a strong plus; and, in this day and age, computer and media skills are also desirable. In addition to a sales position, we are also seeking a bookkeeper and/or office assistant to help with data entry, invoicing, ordering, and other administrative tasks. General accounting skills are obviously a plus! This person would be working closely with Claire (our co-founder) in day-to- day operations including working with vendors and answering the phone. Strong communication and writing skills are a major plus; and, while not absolutely essential, musical experience and/or experience in the music industry would be preferred.
